Each island has its unique qualities and it is extremly difficult to decide which is one's favourite.  Having lived and worked on Kalymnos, Leros and Patmos, though, I have an especially soft spot for these islands, in particular.  They were great places to stay and the islanders on each were wonderfully friendly and hospitable.
